Bold and beautiful with exquisite details, this handmade silver dragonfly brooch is made to bring lightness and joy to your everyday.
Many cultures have traditionally loved and venerated the dragonfly, appearing as the protagonist in many folklore tales. It symbolises wisdom, transformation, lightness and joy. In addition, the Japanese believe that wearing the dragonfly brings good fortune to its bearer. Above all, there is something magical seeing this lovely jewel-like creature moving between the reeds and across the ponds on a spring day.
The Emperor Dragonfly and the above attributes inspired our designer. She, therefore, created this one-of-a-kind handmade brooch of exceptional beauty. Its slender and elegant body consists of sterling silver with an oval opal decorating the centre of the wings. Lastly, blue-green coloured enamel forms its tail with two big blue eyes embedded with topaz adorning its body.
Wear this unique jewel brooch and feel the beauty and joy that brings with it.
If you are a supporter of animal conservation, there is good news for you! 10% of the sales of this one-a-kind handmade silver brooch will be donated to the British Dragonfly Society.
